Work session reviews Bill 11-25 to remove county childcare officer and codify COA role

Mark Hodge (HHS chief operating officer) said the department is reviewing internal options and expects to fill critical functions quickly.
The committee did not take action on Bill 11-25 at the work session and directed staff to return with details about which duties would transfer to DHHS and how oversight and reporting would be managed if the code position is removed.
