The Plan Commission met on July 7 and reported several items to the council. The commission held public hearings and tabled consideration of a land-use change and zoning amendment for the southeast corner of South Main and Russ Roscoe until August; it approved a conditional use and outdoor storage area at 2320 Sullivan Way and approved a certified survey map for a parcel on Wildwood Drive. The commission also discussed concept plans for a property across from the high school and scheduled hearings for a 17.2-acre Woodmere property land-use change and zoning amendments to allow multifamily development.
Council accepted the report and noted several items will return in August for further action. Commission members indicated some approvals (outdoor storage, site-plan reconfiguration, facade grant) had few or no public comments.
