Crewe Town Council voted on Feb. 10 to adopt the town's 2025 strategic objectives, a nine-point plan that includes improving and maintaining infrastructure, advancing downtown revitalization, reducing blight, strengthening civic engagement and improving the town's financial health. The council moved to accept the objectives as presented; the motion carried.
Town manager presented the goals as the product of the council's recent strategic planning session and said the objectives will serve as the baseline for the town's work in 2025. "Objective one: improve and maintain infrastructure; objective two: downtown revitalization," the town manager said while outlining the plan. Staff will bring these goals into the budget process and into upcoming work sessions so council can align resources and timelines.
