The board approved a set of administrative items central to the district’s upcoming fiscal cycle and programs. The trustees approved renewal of treasurer bonds, accepted a donation of $2,400 from United Way for the North Primary Jump Start program, and agreed to the 2027 budget calendar that includes an August 17 budget review, a public hearing on Sept. 21, and a moved adoption date of Oct. 12 to avoid fall break.
On nutrition, administrators presented Tab I and the board approved the 2026–27 school lunch prices with no increase for the coming year. The Chair asked for a motion and the board approved the recommendation "as presented." The board also approved a collaborative agreement with Pace Community Action Agency intended to continue previously established services.
Board members requested that staff send thank‑you notices for donations and noted that the collaborative agreement mirrors prior practice. Budget calendar scheduling and public hearing timelines will guide staff work on the upcoming budget process.
