Organizers say summer concert band fees covered by sponsorships; surplus to offset other costs

Staff reported that the total fees for the summer concert bands are $9,750 and that sponsorships already committed total $11,850, covering the band fees and leaving additional sponsorship funds to be used for tents and porta-john rentals. "That total was $11,850. So, we fully covered the band totals and have extra money from the sponsorships to go towards the tent rentals and porta john rentals as well," the Recreation Director said.
Organizers credited outreach work on sponsorships and thanked staff (Natalie and others) for their work on booking bands and securing sponsorship revenue. Committee members said the lineup and funding are on track for the upcoming season.
