Committee approves work on Village Center parking lot and Sherman Avenue railroad crossing

The Finance and Accounts Committee on April 14 approved a recommendation from the Public Works Committee to replace the Village Center parking lot and repair pavement near the railroad crossing on North Sherman Avenue.

The chair told the committee the recommendation came from a unanimous Public Works vote and said engineers urged doing the work now to avoid higher future costs.
