Summary

Executive Recreation Director Gavin Scray distributed a cost estimate to replace the Civic Center pool liner and told the committee the estimate is valid through Dec. 31, 2026. Scray said that if the city delays beyond 2026, the replacement cost is expected to increase by roughly 7–8 percent.
Scray also cautioned that further concrete work may be necessary but that the condition of the underlying concrete cannot be determined until the existing liner is removed; the committee recorded the estimate and unknowns in the minutes but took no formal action at the July 20 meeting.
