The Marinette Parks & Recreation Committee unanimously approved the minutes from its June 16, 2026 meeting after Alderperson Demmith moved and Alderperson Keller seconded the motion, which carried with all concurring. The meeting was called to order by Committee Chairperson Alderperson Kowalski at 4:00 PM in the Marinette Council Chambers.
Committee members received monthly reports from Executive Recreation Director Gavin Scray, Recreation Superintendent Adrienne Lacy and Superintendent of Public Works Kelly Stewart. Director of Tourism and Marketing Shawn Katzbeck summarized July activities and upcoming 2026 events, and explained the three digital marketing boards the city uses and where they are located. No formal committee action was taken on the departmental reports. The committee adjourned at 4:18 PM; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the City Hall Common Council Chambers.
