In the manager's report, staff told the council the town's service-line inventory is almost complete and that very few lead lines have been identified. The manager also said the annual Chicken Festival will be postponed to avoid rushed planning, with the town likely to reschedule in May or October 2025; in the meantime staff may plan a smaller, family-friendly airport event in mid‑October. The airport terminal interior has been repainted and the town has submitted or is preparing several grant applications.
"Service line inventory is almost complete um very very few lead lines have been identified which is good news," the manager said. The manager also reminded council of the VML conference (Oct. 13–15) and asked members to notify staff if they wished to attend.
