At its July 21 meeting the board approved the agenda, superintendent consent agenda and board consent agenda by roll‑call votes. Administrators announced new‑staff onboarding Aug. 12–14 and staff inservice Aug. 18–20 (opening at Logan High); the board will vote on R3.2 at its Aug. 4 business meeting.
The board approved the meeting agenda and both the superintendent and board consent agendas by roll‑call votes after brief discussion. The roll calls recorded members present and two excused members; motions were moved and seconded and passed without amendment.
Administrators announced events and calendar items: LPF Bow Tie Classic on Sept. 6 (fundraiser), state education convention information for January, new‑staff onboarding Aug. 12–14 with a coffee invitation for board members on Aug. 12 at 7:45 a.m., and the districtwide staff inservice Aug. 18–20 (opening ceremony at Logan High at 9:30 a.m.). The board also approved the agenda planning for the Aug. 4 meeting and asked staff to schedule a workshop on standards‑based grading.
