Student success coach Courtney High urges board to 'witness' impact as position is cut

It’s a loss. A loss of relationships of leadership and stability,” she told the board.
High said the role carries institutional knowledge and momentum that are difficult to replace and urged board members to “stay here in this moment” and let the loss inform future decisions. The board did not take action on her comment during the meeting; the personnel decision was presented during administrative business and the speaker used her public time to make a personal appeal.
