Board seeks candidates to fill Rachel’s seat; one person has declined

At the Nov. 20 meeting the board discussed efforts to fill the vacant seat formerly held by Rachel. Board members said they and Diane have contacted a few people they would like to interview; at least one person declined when asked. Members encouraged interested residents to attend the December meeting to get a feel for the work before committing to the role.
The board asked that candidates be present at the December meeting so members can meet them and allow them to observe board proceedings. No formal appointment was made at the Nov. 20 meeting.
