Board members said the town's workers' compensation premium rose sharply and that, because the premium was due Nov. 17, the payment was advanced from the sewer account. The board voted Nov. 20 to transfer $264 from the town operating account (line item 423) to the town insurance account to reimburse the sewer fund for half of the $528 premium.
A board member said the town will split the premium 50/50 with the sewer fund and moved the transfer motion, which was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board instructed staff to reimburse the sewer account and recorded the accounting line (item 423) to be used for the transfer.
