The school principal reported that enrollment at the school stands at 69 students, down from the opening figure of 73, and attributed the change to four students who moved out of the district. "My enrollment is 69 number of students as of right now we started out with 73," the principal said.
He described the IMSSA interim assessment (Major of Student Success and Achievement) as a new three-times-a-year test intended to gauge student progress toward end-of-year state testing, and said the district will monitor alignment with the full-year assessment. Dr Kam and staff reported kindergarten language screenings and a completed grade-one dyslexia screener; a plan for ELL services from K–12 will be presented in November with anticipated implementation on or about Nov. 1.
