The draft plan centers on five priorities identified by stakeholder input: improve reading and math growth toward proficiency, enhance student support services, elevate family and community involvement, advance college and career readiness, and boost operational effectiveness. The presenter proposed measurable targets, including using beginning‑of‑year assessments as baselines and aiming for 10% annual growth in ELA and math proficiency; “by May 2030 all schools in JEMEZ VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS [will] be a spotlight school,” the Presenter said. The plan also sets subgroup growth expectations (for ELL and special education populations), attendance and graduation rate goals, and a set of recommended strategies (early‑years investment, multi‑layered interventions, personalized pathways, stakeholder development, and continuous improvement).
