Board members discussed options to improve retention, including adding elementary extracurriculars and athletics, improving school culture to make families feel welcome, and treating mobility as a root-cause to be addressed in the strategic-plan process and in elementary CSI work.
The board did not adopt new policy at the meeting but directed staff to continue outreach and report back at the next meetings.
