The board conducted multiple roll‑call votes across operations, education and human resources items. The minutes show a mix of yes, no and abstain votes recorded by name.
Several motions did not pass for specific items because the board lacked the required six affirmative votes for those items due to absences or conflicts of interest. Board leadership said they will convert the scheduled July 27 retreat into an action meeting so outstanding agenda items can return for votes with fuller participation. "I just want to make sure... we have to have six yeses," a board member said while explaining vote thresholds and plan to revisit failed items at the next meeting.
