The Township of West Orange Planning Board opened a special meeting on July 22, 2026, working through early Zoom login issues before the chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Chairman Bogov read the public notice and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The chair announced the next regular planning-board meeting would be held on August 12, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Yamilette conducted roll call and confirmed members present; the board confirmed a quorum. During the opening remarks the chair stated the meeting had been properly noticed in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and that notice had been sent to the township clerk, the West Orange Chronicle and the Star Ledger.
Shortly after the opening items the chair explained the purpose of the special meeting (to move into executive session for litigation) and the public portion concluded with staff directing participants to join a separate executive-session Zoom link. The board did not conduct further public business that night.
