The Gregory City Council appointed Stacy Boes as interim councilperson for Ward III on Dec. 2 following an executive session called to discuss personnel. The motion to appoint Boes was made by Kristi Drey and seconded by Cory Graber; the vote was unanimous.
The council also approved a list of seasonal snow-removal employees to be paid $25.00 per hour: Darwin Grim, Alex Hamilton, Aaron Hogrefe and Russell Nelson. Laura Petersen moved to approve the seasonal hires and Guhner Kepler seconded; the motion carried. The executive session began at 6:57 p.m. and concluded at 7:31 p.m.
