City staff presented an on‑call professional services agreement with Antero Group LLC that would make planning, civil engineering, GIS and grant‑writing support available to the city on an as‑needed basis. The presenter said the agreement “establishes an on‑call relationship only and does not obligate the city to utilize any minimum amount of services,” and that individual projects would be authorized by separate task orders and funded from departmental budgets.
Commissioners asked how the relationship would work in practice and whether limits apply to individual task orders; staff answered that task orders would define scope, schedules and fees and the city could terminate the contract if needed. A motion to approve the on‑call agreement passed unanimously. No dollar guarantee or automatic spending was created by the vote.
