Board names delegates and representatives to regional education bodies
Summary
By unanimous voice votes the board appointed delegates to the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, a cooperative educational service agency representative, a TIF representative and the district’s representative to the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.
After reorganizational votes the board filled external and interagency roles for 2026–27.
Adam Ma was elected as the district’s delegate to the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) and Loretta was elected as the WASB alternate. The board also appointed Jim Begnvki as the district’s Cooperative Educational Service Agency representative; the representative is scheduled to attend monthly meetings and the CESA annual convention on June 3, 2026.
Patty Spang was reappointed as the district’s tax incremental financing (TIF) representative. The board confirmed Meredith Garcia will continue to represent the district on the La Crosse Public Education Foundation. Each appointment was made after nominations were closed and carried by unanimous voice vote.
