On dredging, Fiers reported that Marine Industries (MIA) will not take part unless there is a diagonal cut, which the town and town marinas oppose. He said State and FIND funding would not accommodate a diagonal approach and that the town is pursuing its own funds. The mayor said he had a conference call scheduled with the Army Corps of Engineers the following day to discuss the survey schedule.
