Public works: north tank to be refilled after painting; ARPA interest earmarked for stormwater fixes

Public Works Director Jonathan Tanner updated the board on several infrastructure items, saying the contractor expects to put water back in the recently painted north-end tank and that samples will be pulled and sent to Bonner Analytic for testing. Tanner said, "if everything goes to plan, we will be putting water in it Saturday... we'll take them to Bonner Analytic" and predicted the tank would be brought back online the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
Tanner also reported delivery and partial installation of a radar speed sign (solar panel in transit), the arrival and use of a concrete breaker, and stormwater work on an eroding catch basin on Anderson Drive. He told the board there is roughly $43,000 in interest from ARPA funds that the town intends to use for stormwater problems and small projects under $5,000 to avoid formal bidding when feasible. The board agreed to pursue small repairs and to request engineering review for more complex curb-and-gutter work on Loretta Drive.
