Board members said there were no neighborhood complaints at the public hearing and noted similar homes exist nearby. Ms. Monica Fuller, Mr. Steve Bailey, Mr. Joe Brooks and Ms. Bridget Peters recorded “yes” votes during the roll call.
The applicant, Carnisha Price, was told she still must obtain a building/work permit before moving the unit. City staff told the board: "You can walk in there right now and do it — just tell Miss Joyce to give you a building permit," advising the permit office will issue the required paperwork and inspections before occupancy.
The board did not attach additional conditions beyond the standard permit and inspection requirements. The item was the subject of prior public hearing and received no recorded objections during that hearing, which the aldermen said informed their unanimous decision.
