During discussion staff warned that the buried cover could be between six inches and four feet below asphalt, creating uncertainty in final labor and concrete/asphalt work. Diane said she requested an itemized estimate from Cicero to compare costs for the two smaller yard covers versus the one in the road. The board agreed that keeping the whole job with one contractor reduces coordination risk and potential extra mobilization costs.
The board instructed staff to direct the contractor to update the invoice name to Shamrock Lakes and to proceed with ordering the work once administrative details are confirmed.
