CMP to repair Emery Circle, Henry Hill Road after notifying Buxton of noise compliance

Patty McKenna told the Select Board CMP (Central Maine Power) sent the town a letter stating CMP is in compliance with the applicable noise requirements and that the company will begin repairs on Emery Circle and part of Henry Hill Road, with completion targeted by Dec. 31 of this year. McKenna said she has not received further complaints from neighbors and described the notification as hopeful news for nearby residents.
McKenna added that CMP and the Select Board agreed CMP will start work within the next couple of months and that the town will monitor progress toward the year-end completion date.
