Town approves $28,168 for Dell computer replacements

The Board of Selectmen voted to appropriate $28,168 to line 20547-57882 for replacement computers recommended by Information Technology Manager Jeff Robelard. Robelard said the town has switched to Dell because “pricing was much better than HP” and Dell’s support infrastructure for drivers and back-end services has been “really good for us.”
Members asked no substantive questions and approved forwarding the appropriation to the Board of Finance as required. The action was taken by voice vote.
