The board approved capital improvements that included Carlile and Sullivan High School lot repairs and restriping for $17,700 to be funded from bond proceeds, and the purchase of a Ford Explorer for the district police fleet for $18,900 from the capital improvement fund. The motions were moved, seconded and approved by unanimous vote.
Administrator also reported the district is exploring the issuance of 2026 bonds with advisors Baker Tilly and Ice Miller. Potential projects under consideration if bonds move forward include classroom expansions at Solvin Elementary, athletic and PE locker-room work at Svin High School, restroom restoration at Sullivan Elementary, and purchase of new school buses.
