Walton AHAC delays vote on Senate Bill 594; staff to prepare technical LHAP revision for BOCC review

Staff described a path forward for the LHAP: make a technical revision, submit it for internal review and place it on a BOCC agenda so the board can consider approval by the September 1 deadline. "What we could do is based on suggestion... I can already do the technical revision on the LHAP, submit it to Steven for a review, and then put it on the agenda for August so the BOCC can approve it by the September 1 date," the coordinator said.
Committee members emphasized the advisory role of the AHAC/AHAB body and that the BOCC is the final approver. The meeting ended with members asking staff to return with summary materials and historical reports so that the committee could review allocations and timing before the next substantive vote.
