Bruce Bicknase re-elected chair; Jason Schipper elected vice chair

At the Jan. 13 meeting Commissioners held the annual election of officers for 2026. Commissioner Rob Doyen moved and Commissioner Jason Schipper seconded the nomination of Bruce Bicknase as Chairperson; a voice vote carried with all present voting in favor.
Chairperson Bicknase then asked for the Vice-Chair nomination; he moved the nomination of Commissioner Jason Schipper with Commissioner Matthew Irish seconding. The voice vote carried 6-0 and Schipper was elected Vice-Chair for 2026.
The officers will serve in their roles for the calendar year and preside over Planning Commission meetings and duties as assigned by the Commission and city code.
