Chairperson Bruce Bicknase opened and closed the public hearing with no members of the public speaking. Commissioner Rob Doyen moved and Commissioner Matthew Irish seconded the motion to approve the permit. A roll call vote was unanimous: Doyen, Irish, Schipper, Kraft, Nielsen and Bicknase voted yes; the motion carried 6-0.
The approval permits Anderson Jones Corcoran Funeral Home to operate a crematorium at the identified parcel subject to conditions of the Conditional Use Permit as reviewed by staff. The Commission record lists the applicant as Anderson Jones Corcoran Funeral Home and the parcel number as 270.76.01.001. The item required a public hearing and a formal roll call vote; none of the public comment period registrants spoke on the matter.
