Union City accepts resignation, clears background checks and approves police contract

After an executive session to discuss personnel and contracts, Council moved to approve a police contract for Zackery Shelly (motion by Councilor Steadman, seconded by Councilor Kerns); the motion is recorded as carried in the minutes.
