Harrold trustees set trustee pay, finance officer wage and $0.70 mileage rate

The Harrold Board of Trustees voted Jan. 13 to set compensation levels for elected and municipal staff. Trustee Mike Bartels moved to set trustees’ pay at $100 per month and $75 per special meeting (special-meeting pay paid only if attended); the motion, seconded by Marty Winckler, carried.
The board also approved a monthly salary of $600 for Finance Officer Sarah Rheinbolt and set the mileage reimbursement rate at $0.70 per mile following a separate motion by President Dean Becker, seconded by Winckler.
