The Anderson County Lady Bearcat softball team received public recognition for winning the 30th District and placing among the top 16 in the KHSAA state tournament; coaches noted individual awards and appealed for a fundraiser to purchase an air conditioner for their facility. The board approved recorded donations and recognitions by unanimous vote.
