Mayor read the ordinance for first and second readings and confirmed the change is a resubdivision of lot A4 and a tract in the southeast quarter of Section 35. Administrator Welty reported the item had passed planning and zoning unanimously before coming to the board. “This, passed, planning and zoning unanimously,” Welty said during the presentation.
A motion to approve Bill 2026-27 was moved and seconded; the mayor called for roll call and announced the motion carried. The mayor stated that Bill 2026-27 becomes Ordinance No. 2277. The action approves a minor boundary adjustment, and Welty told the board she understood the property owners did not intend to build as part of this adjustment.
