Developer: Eversource impact study shows no major upgrades needed; interconnection agreement still pending

“We have an email indication from them that we can install the system with just a new service and a recloser,” the developer said, adding that a formal facility study and the interconnection agreement will follow. Task force members asked whether a facility study would be required; the developer said in similar recent projects a facility study was often not required when an impact study passes, but cautioned a final report is still outstanding.
The developer committed to sharing the facility study and any interconnection agreement as soon as they are received. The task force noted that Eversource responses are central to project cost and scheduling and asked to be kept updated.
Next steps: developer to circulate facility-study results and the interconnection agreement when available and to track any impacts to the permitting and construction schedule.
