County warns capital balance is shrinking; major projects and court software expected to consume funds

He also reviewed a court case‑management software replacement: about $673,000 has been spent to date and the full project cost is likely closer to $1.5–1.6 million because vendor support for the old system is limited. The committee asked for clearer analyses of expected efficiencies and project payback before final approvals.
