Committee member (speaker 5) moved to place VAR26-27 on the Aug. 27 agenda for rehearing ‘‘regarding the introduction of evidence from the county about regarding the state forest buffer not being on the plat map.’’ The motion was seconded and carried. Hayward (speaker 4) advised the board that if the board reopens a matter without proper notice the appellate court could remand, so re‑notice is the safer path. The board directed staff to add the rehearing to the Aug. 27 agenda and to follow notice procedures so the public and interested parties have an opportunity to attend and present.
