Hillsborough council approves employment agreement to hire Danielle Bartle as city administrator

The City of Hillsborough City Council voted to approve an employment agreement offering Danielle Bartle the position of city administrator, effective July 1.
"It is my pleasure to announce that we are extending an offer to Danielle Bartle to be our next city administrator," the meeting chair said as the council moved to accept the agreement. The council authorized the mayor to sign the contract, and the motion carried.
Council recorded that no formal action was taken during earlier executive sessions before returning to open session to take the employment vote. The agreement specifies that Mister Webb will continue as interim city administrator until Bartle’s start date and that Bartle will continue in her duties as city clerk until then.
