Plans set for Blandford's 250th: fireworks, parade and free admission for residents

Girard noted the event is free to Blandford residents.
On Saturday, June 27 Girard said the parade is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 a.m.; participants are asked to gather at Town Hall by 11:00 a.m. The program will include multiple bands, games and food throughout the day. The Board heard that turnout in the parade line-up is expected to be large, and Girard recommended continuing similar candidate-night and engagement programming for future local elections.
The Board did not record a formal vote related to event logistics; Girard's presentation served as an update to the Board and the public.
