The council asked staff to publish sales‑tax and other revenue records online so economic‑development success can be tracked against concrete five‑year baselines.
Members also agreed quality‑of‑life targets will come largely from surveys. The strategic‑planning committee will work with the city’s consultant to map survey questions to the focus areas and establish a baseline the council can compare with future surveys. The session concluded with no formal votes; council members signaled they will return with more concrete metrics in coming months.
