ATAC adopts new bylaws; MPO staff to craft separate personnel manual while outreach events planned

Staff reported that the committee's new bylaws are in effect following the transition from the Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee to the Active Transportation Advisory Committee. The Chair thanked members who participated in the bylaws work.
Staff also said they have begun work to develop or modify a personnel manual for the MPO, noting the MPO currently operates under the City of Los Cusus personnel manual but that changes will be needed. The executive committee and governing board will primarily handle that transition; it is not expected to require advisory committee action.
Committee members shared outreach and calendar items: a virtual community meeting is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 18, stakeholder meetings and pop‑ups Aug. 25–26, an active transportation working group beginning Aug. 13, and a Buck Moon ride on July 29. Staff also noted the MPO submitted a Bicycle Friendly Community application and has distributed a community survey.
