The Basehor City Council took several actions during the meeting. The consent agenda was adopted by a 5-0 vote. Ordinance 9-48 (levy of special assessments for Greyhawk at Prairie Gardens 4th and 5th) and Ordinance 9-50 (authorization to issue special-obligation improvement district revenue bonds, series 2025, for the same project) were both adopted by voice roll call votes of 5-0.
The council also adopted Resolution 2025-204 to update the city’s building and permit fee schedule; staff said the changes add and refine fees for specific permit categories and aim to better recover inspection and review costs. On a nonvoting direction, staff proposed repurposing the Municipal Equipment Reserve Fund to include maintenance (MMIRF) and to charge a project maintenance fee; council asked staff and the city attorney to draft an ordinance and resolution with fee parameters and return them for formal consideration.
