During the call the group settled on a modest approach for Culvert 10: a short extension (board members discussed about "5 feet") and clearing/removing a nearby stump to restore the apron and turning radius for vehicles. "I would argue that... putting it back far enough so that that turning radius would work" (John) explained when describing prior site walks.
For Colbert 6 — the culvert that discharges close behind a house — the board discussed moving the inlet roughly 15 yards north/uphill to reduce the risk to the residence. Contractor representatives said Pike could perform the move quickly, possibly over a weekend, provided permits and landowner permission are secured. The board asked staff to obtain cost estimates and to confirm whether the work triggers formal bid requirements under town procurement rules.
Board members agreed to schedule a morning site visit with the engineer, the water foreman (Patrick White), and contractor representatives to finalize positions and costs. "If you can make that happen... 09:00 tomorrow," John said when offering to meet on site.
