They also said they invested about $15,000 of their own money into field rehabilitation and that initial operational expenses for equipment and vehicles exceeded $100,000. The presentation highlighted a partnership with an amateur development (RAD) program, plans to sponsor two all‑star teams and assistance with grant-writing to improve the facility. Council members asked about maintenance and communications with the city; the operators said they are learning to coordinate with staff and the city has helped with field repairs.
