Magenta Hammond reported that parks employees completed construction of two picnic pavilion shelters for Central Park and Rover Range and are finishing a pavilion by the Lake Ole dock that will include signage boards and a ruler for measuring fish. Hammond also presented a list of recreational activities planned for 2026, noting several changes from last year’s offerings.
Toby Huizenga told the board he has scheduled treatment of the Central Park ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer again this year. The board did not take formal action on these items during the meeting; they were presented as operational updates and routine maintenance planning.
