Nags Head honors ocean‑rescue, fire and police personnel for on‑beach resuscitation

The board presented life‑saving commendations to multiple staff—first‑year lifeguard Dunia, lifeguard Mason Lind, supervisors Michael Federline and ryar Gilbertson, acting Captain Michael D. on ocean rescue, and firefighters including Captain Phil, Lieutenant Trevor Tilly and engineer James Phillips. Commissioners and the mayor thanked the responders and invited photos and public recognition.
