The Macksville Unified School District No. 351 Board of Education approved a contract to hire Haleigh Wood as the grade school principal for the 2026-2027 school year at its special meeting on Feb. 16, 2026. The board recorded a 7-0 vote in favor after a motion by Board Member Duane Miller and a second from Board Member Brian Anshutz.
The contract was approved with salary left to be determined at a later date, according to the board record. The action was recorded as Reso #109. The meeting was called to order by President Aaron Wolff at 8:15 AM and adjourned at 8:19 AM; the personnel action was taken during the brief session. Superintendent Mike Sanders and Clerk Dallas Morrow were present, and the board listed seven members in attendance.
