Macksville USD 351 board adopts 2025–26 budget, approves levy above revenue-neutral rate

The board also adopted a local option budget authorization (Reso #34) permitting a local option budget up to 33% of total foundation aid; the resolution notes that a petition signed by 10% of qualified electors within 40 days after publication would require the question be submitted to voters. The board recorded a Building Needs Assessment pursuant to K.S.A. 72-1163 as considered in adopting the budget (Reso #35). The actions were conducted during the budget meeting called to order at 7:15 PM; the Revenue Neutral Rate portion of the meeting had been adjourned earlier at 7:04 PM (Reso #30).
