The Building Board approved a permit to replace the rear patio doors at 409 Kensington after the owner described hail damage to the existing units. Applicant Eric Le told the board that the doors were damaged "from that hail storm a couple months ago" and that the replacement will preserve the same three-panel footprint while removing the grid mullions in the glazing.
Board members examined the presented photos and elevations, noted the replacement would retain the original configuration and sightlines, and approved the application by motion. The approval was recorded as an allowance to replace the doors with non-grid glazing as presented; no additional conditions were noted on the record.
